NAV (Net Asset Value)
Definition
Price per unit of a mutual fund calculated daily as (total assets − liabilities) ÷ number of units outstanding.
In Context
NAV determines the buy/sell price when you invest or redeem from a mutual fund. Higher NAV doesn't mean better fund — compare returns relative to category peers instead.
