ITR form for individuals with income from salary, capital gains, more than one house property, or foreign income — but NOT business/professional income.
In Context
ITR-2 is for capital gains (shares, property), foreign income, or multiple house properties. Freelancers and self-employed individuals with business income must file ITR-3 (not ITR-2).
